Professional Statement

Dr. Morazan graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1999. He then completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) in hospital dentistry at University Hospital in Newark, NJ, an Infectious Disease Fellowship (IDF) at the New Jersey Dental School and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University. 

Upon completing his training, Dr. Morazan was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Public Health Service. During his service, he was stationed in diverse places like Arizona, New Mexico and Massachusetts. He additionally completed multiple emergency deployments, including deploying for the US Navy Dental Corps during Operation Iraqi Freedom and in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina emergency relief efforts. Upon completing his USPHS tenure, he had achieved the rank of Commander, had earned 12 different awards & citations and received an Honorable Discharge. 

After his tours of duty on behalf of the Nation, Dr Morazan (a true Jersey Boy!) returned home and established his private practice in Edison, NJ, where he focuses on comprehensive dental patient care. He also has a lifelong commitment to learning. He has completed the AAID Maxicourse in dental implantology and the NYU Full Mouth Reconstruction programs among others. His commitment to continuous education translates into better &more effective dental treatments for all of his patients. 

When not treating dental patients, Dr. Morazan loves spending time with his wife Laura and his son Walter. He is a mean Frisbee thrower and an avid soccer player, but he enjoys baseball most of all! Go DODGERS! Professional Statement


Dr. Fuentes graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2001. She later completed a two year Advanced General Practice Residency (A-GPR) in hospital dentistry at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, NM while serving as an Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. 

Dr. Fuentes’ strong commitment to providing dental care to the undeserved and underprivileged segments of our society was manifest even while in dental school, where she participated in the Junior and Senior COSTEP programs with Department of Health of Human Services and served with both the Indian Health Service and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. During her active duty service with the USPHS, Dr. Fuentes later achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and performed tours of duty throughout the nation, including multiple emergency deployments. During her service she earned multiple awards & citations and received an Honorable Discharge. 

After completing her tours of service, Dr. Fuentes translated all of her dental knowledge and expertise to her private practice in Edison, NJ, where she loves to focus on dental adult and pediatric patient care. She also has a ‘kiddie magic touch’ and loves providing dental care to children. She believes in achieving outstanding oral health in all of her patients through the combination of proper dental health, function and aesthetics through patient education & treatment. 

When not performing dentistry, Dr. Fuentes likes to relax by cooking, listening to music and by hitting the dance floors on the weekends. She loves going to her son’s little league baseball games and programming video games with him. She will be looking forward to taking care of your dental health! Cheers!
